The Red Tents have come from

many stories throughout our history.
Along with the 'Moon Lodges' of the Native Americans.

In ancient times many tribes had the same,

the women gather, hold space, have rites and ceremonies,

aid with childbirth, share stories.

Our myths, legends, stories and songs,

through our ancestors,

have kept these sacred rites alive

within our families and communities

they teach our daughters the wise ways of the women.

this is what is birthing
this is what is needed

Ask yourself what are you yearning for?

What does your community need?

What does the Red Tent mean to you?
